The much-anticipated mythological epic Krishnavataram, directed by Hardik Gajjar, is steadily building momentum ahead of its release. Following the overwhelming response to its visually stunning trailer, the film’s team recently met Yogi Adityanath to discuss the project and seek his blessings.
The delegation included debutant Sanskruti Jayana, who plays Satyabhama, and Siddharth Gupta, who steps into the role of Lord Krishna. They were joined by director Hardik Gajjar and producers Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant.
Earlier, the team unveiled the trailer at Krishna Janmabhoomi, drawing thousands of devotees and cinema enthusiasts. During their visit to Mathura and Vrindavan, they also offered prayers at prominent spiritual landmarks including Raman Reti Temple, Radha Rani Temple, Prem Mandir, and ISKCON Temple Vrindavan.
Sharing her experience, Sanskruti Jayana expressed gratitude for the opportunity to launch the trailer in Mathura and meet the Chief Minister. She described the moment as a significant beginning to her career and emphasized the responsibility of the younger generation to represent cultural values through cinema. She also confirmed that the film is slated for release on May 7, 2026.
Producer Sajan Raj Kurup highlighted the importance of the meeting, noting the guidance and encouragement received from the Chief Minister. He also acknowledged the support of local authorities in facilitating the grand trailer launch at Krishna Janmabhoomi.
Emphasizing the film’s deeper message, he stated that Krishnavataram aims to present India’s cultural heritage and history to future generations, using cinema as a powerful medium to preserve and promote tradition.
Presented by Creativeland Studios Entertainment and backed by Athasrikatha Motion Pictures, Krishnavataram is envisioned as the first installment of a three-part cinematic franchise. With its grand scale and spiritual narrative, the film is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on May 7, 2026.
